The Sitting Room

by Joseph Cave

/

about

A taster of some of the new music that I'm working on at the moment.

lyrics

When smaller were my shoes
I could never breathe the air outside
Window sitting in my room
I would watch the people

And as the record
Spun
Around and around
I asked if you were comfortable
In that beat-up chair.
And made a cup of kindness
For all my salty words
And sent you off to slumber.

Now larger are my shoes
I need to breathe the air outside
No longer sitting in my room
I need to be in nature
