the eyes appeared again.
And suspended in a stringless

and the misty water blue eyes
they held me in a stare.
My eyes they flicker blindly
I’m falling back to earth.
And as my breath increases
I am brought in by the surf

There was a light i found within me
after falling back to earth.
an enlightened sense
of intrigue like a renewal
of my birth.
And I tried to tell the story
to those you’re meant to trust
but the weaker minded
they derided my thoughts
into dust.
And over 10 years later
you came flowing in.
to show me
i’d become as cynical
as the ones who’d
filled me in.
So began my journey
to get back to those eyes
that had held me suspended
independent from the vastness
of the night.

by forces dark and strong
